As a group project carried out as part of the Projects module of the CFGS in Interactive Graphics, I developed a proposal to redesign and expand the Moodle platform, focused on improving the user experience in an educational setting. The main objective was to rethink its structure and functionality to make it more intuitive, accessible, and efficient for both students and faculty.
This project stems from my own experience using educational platforms, where I identified certain challenges related to navigation, content management, and communication among users. Although Moodle is a widely adopted tool, I believe it offers opportunities for improvement in key areas of usability and design, especially in contexts where digital interaction is constant.
In short, this is a user-centered analysis and design exercise in which I sought not only to improve an existing tool, but also to reflect on how UI/UX design can directly influence the quality of the digital educational experience and to align the work with the real needs of today’s educational landscape.
