This project involved designing the promotional poster for “Barra y Fuego en Barra,” a cultural initiative organized by the Seville School of Art and Design that brings artistic ceramics to the public by exhibiting pottery and glazed works in bars and restaurants throughout the city. The goal was to create a graphic design that would reflect the connection between craftsmanship, culture, and everyday spaces, conveying the essence of the event in an attractive and contemporary way.
As a result, I designed a poster that blends elements representative of Seville’s ceramic craftsmanship and gastronomic culture, using a visually striking central image that symbolizes the convergence of clay, fire, and the city’s communal spaces. The color palette, inspired by the warm tones of clay and ceramic glazes, reinforces the event’s identity. The design aims to attract the public, facilitate navigation through the various venues, and highlight the work of students in the Pottery and Artistic Metal Glazing programs in a setting that is approachable and accessible to the general public.
