Civic Center Las Sirenas Redesign

, , ,

As a Final Degree Project at the CFGS of Interactive Graphics I developed a proposal UX / UI redesign for the websites of the civic centers of Seville, with the aim of improving accessibility, simplifying registration processes and facilitating the access of citizens to the cultural, social and training activities offered by these spaces.

The project arose after it was observed that, despite the public’s keen interest in participating in activities at civic centers, current platforms have issues with navigation, content organization, and accessibility that hinder participation. Through user-centered research based on surveys, interviews, heuristic analysis, user personas, and user testing the main barriers affecting the public’s digital experience were identified.

As a result, I designed a clearer, intuitive and accessible platform, incorporating features such as visual calendars, advanced filters, online registration systems and management tools for administrative staff. The proposal takes a mobile- first and universal-design approach, seeking to humanize public services and strengthen the connection between the citizenship and cultural life of their neighbourhoods.
